I have a small pizza to share with my best friend! She wants 2/4 of the pizza, and I want 1/2 of the pizza. Doesn't half of the pizza sound like a lot? I am really hungry! She thinks 2/4 will fill us up. What are we going to do? Which is more: 1/2 or 2/4? Or, are they equal? I think it's time to compare fractions!

New Year
There have been many "firsts" during our FIRST half of the school year! What a great experience we ALL have had~ especially for me as a new teacher. I have learned so much through your kiddos & through my teaching experiences during 2012; and, I hope 2013 continues to bring many lessons to help me grow as a teacher.
